bianca does art, like all of it.  she grew up singing & playing music.  when she is not singing, she is a designer, photographer, & painter.  Oh, and branding.

brian gonzo started playing the bass a few years back, and never put it down.  he spends every possible moment playing and listening to music.

jose cardenas equals guitar(period).  when he is not playing the guitar, he is fixing them.  when he is not fixing guitars, he is building them.

chuy is a drummer, at heart and in true form.  no drums? no problem, there is always a beat.  music came to him long ago, and ain’t never gonna leave.

// StereoViolet combines the powerful yet melodic vocals of frontwoman Bianca Black with a seductive yet explosive fusion of instrumentation that both captivates and captures the listener.  Based out of Chicago, Illinois, the band’s unique sound draws inspiration from a wide range of musical influences and sets the stage for an exhilarating and unforgettable musical experience.  From the emotionally driven and introspective lyrics of the band’s songs, to the collective vibe of each member’s eclectic contribution, to the wild personality and unpredictable wardrobe of vocalist Black at the band’s live performances, Stereo Violet pushes the line between music and art and establishes itself as a musical force to be reckoned with.

// Formed in 2013, the band’s debut full-length album is slated for release in November 2016.  The band has drawn comparison to The Cure, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beach House, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Depeche Mode, and Bjork (on acid).
